TMJ DISORDERS:

SURGICAL AND NON-SURGICAL TREATMENTS

Temporomandibular Joint Disorders are a group of conditions that cause pain and dysfunction in the jaw joint and the muscles that control jaw movement.  Some estimates suggest that over 10 million Americans are affected.

Over 90% of our TMJ patients are treated conservatively by non-invasive treatments.

Testimonial:

A little over a year ago I couldn't open my mouth. My dentist in Long Island referred me to Dr. Momtaheni after I told him that I wanted to have this condition treated by the best oral surgeon in the field.  Dr. Momtaheni corrected the problem and my jaw is as good as new.  The procedure was painless and my recovery was quick.  Dr. Momtaheni is extremely knowledgeable, patient and quite pleasant to deal with.  I recommend his practice whole heartedly without any hesitation what so ever.
